The Mortgage Payment Assistance Unemployment (MPAU) Program has re-opened as a pilot program in Klamath and Lake counties before launching statewide in early 2012. This revised program will provide assistance to an estimated 2,000 homeowners in addition to the 4,000+ participants currently in the program.
The Loan Refinancing Assistance Pilot Project (LRAPP) Program is now available to homeowners in Jackson and Deschutes counties. This program is designed to address the needs of homeowners in these counties, who suffer disproportionately from the foreclosure crisis in Oregon.
The Loan Preservation Program will launch statewide in 2012 and will provide up to $20,000 in assistance toward re-instatement for an estimated 4,000 eligible homeowners across the state.
The Homeowner Education and Verification Program is designed to provide OHSI Program Participants with the tools and information that will help them make the most of their assistance.This program is mandatory for participants to maintain eligibility.
